Your POD pea protein may be a little more lumpy than your whey protein or whey isolate drink. Don’t worry, it’s still possible to make it an enjoyable and smooth experience! 🥰
One serving of your POD pea protein is best enjoyed with 6-8 ounces of cold water or ice cold water! Since we skipped emulsifiers to help keep your pea protein lean and clean, drinking this with hot water is a no-no!
In addition to cold water, it’s best to mix this with a handy-dandy shaker bottle! It takes just a bit more time shaking your bottle than usual to achieve a smooth drink. If this isn’t accessible, a blender is a fine substitute for mixing! You can also mix it in a glass with a spoon, but you may expect “lumps” or flavor bombs with this method.
You don’t have to feel limited about enjoying your plant-based protein as just a drink, too! Feel free to use it as an ingredient. We encourage you to experiment by adding pea protein to your favorite shakes or recipes! The sky’s the limit! 🙌🏼
